So it'd work as well as PUL? Any advice on making a hybrid fitted? I know I definitely can't use cotton thread like I just did on my first diaper attempt >.<

New to the group! I was around for the last one but still haven't had my baby and was still deciding on cloth. We are all in now and I'm addicted! Baby still isn't here until february but I'm obsessed with cloth diapers! Now for some of my questions!

What's your favorite pocket diaper?
What's your favorite cloth wipe?
What detergent do you use?

Thanks ladies!

I've only tried BumGenius, FuzziBunz and Alva pockets. So far, I'm meh on all of them. The fuzzibunz are a little too big, so they leak and I haven't gotten a chance to really use them. But I don't much like the material used on the inside. I like the BumGenius, but they weren't worth the price. I guess the Alva's are my favorite pocket. I don't really have any complaints, they just aren't totally awesome and they're a little bulky(but what do you expect with a OS?)

I haven't tried cloth wipes yet, but I'm making my own wipes as we speak. I'm just sewing old flannel receiving blankets together(I also use them as flats, AWESOME) but I've heard wash cloths work great.

I have no advice on detergent, because I'm a loser. Long story short, I use my mom's washer and she wouldn't allow me to use it unless I used the detergent she uses, which is Tide Free&Clear. I haven't had any leaks, but these smurfers smell so it's time to strip and order real CD detergent. I'm waiting until Black Friday though, because I'm sure there will be all sorts of online sales and I want more covers.

I have some flip covers and stay dry inserts and on the way I have 3 alva 3.0 and 2 alva 4.0 so I'm hoping that I really like the alvas! Thank you for all the info too!! I haven't heard of country save but I will definitely check it out!

I have some bgs but they are flip covers so I hope I like them. I wasn't ready to drop $20 on a bg 4.0 but I might get 2 so I can try them out and see if we like them. I'm hoping to find a cheaper alternative that will work as good- I've heard good things about the alva 4.0 so I'm really hoping that is my go to diaper but only time will tell. I'm still on the fence about cloth wipes but I think they will end up easier (not sure DH feels the same way lol) but I'm saving all my old ceiling blankets for flats so I will just have to buy some wipes to try!

I have some Flips, and I love them. Flips with flats and a Snappi are my favorite right now. I have a Thirsties cover as well, I like it but I'm not a fan of velcro and I prefer one-size. I just wish that Flips came in more colors/prints. I'm thinking about trying Wolbybug covers, I've heard they're good and they have some cute prints.

I got my flip covers on eBay so price won over color/pattern lol! They are all the zinnia color. If we like them and I invest in more I'm not sure what colors I will go for but I do wish they had more patterns!

I like QQ Baby and Alvas the best. I use those thin, cheap baby wash cloths for wipes and we use Country Save to wash.
