re: Cloth Diapers Rock, Bitches! Vol. 4

posted 25th Oct
So I was just on the parent's and I mentionioned something about my cloth diapers. My mom and dad bust out and say, "We're gonna send you a big as box of huggies! Their easier for us to buy." Really. I don't recall asking my folks to buy us cloth diapers and I don't understand why they were so agressive about it. I asked why they are sending us disposables in the first place, they said because it's easier.

Well, I never conplained about cloth being any more work. I told her it's just one or two extra loads of laundry for me. And not to worry, the I was going to be doing the diaper changes. I don't know why that bugged me so much. We have most of what we need for the new baby and haven't asked for anything.

I just said if they wanted to get us something, that a gift card would be great. They sounded soooooo relieved. Just a vent, I'm in a foul mood today

I know! My sister looks at me like I've grown a second head every time I change my son. She will ask questions a lot like she's trying to understand. And I don't mind educating her on why we chose this. But sometimes she just looks at me like, "Awwe, poor things can't even afford diapers! She has to reuse em!"

Ha, I would have just said "Well make sure you include a gift receipt in case they don't fit or the baby can't use huggies." Then, once I got them, return them for cloth   And I'd take pictures to send them thanking them for your cloth

Some of you may remember this.I'm really annoyed. I ordered from an HC shop earlier in the month. Got my order on the 15th (it was only for some wipes) but she shorted me one wipe.
Sent an email letting them know that I only received part of my order.

STILL NO FRAKKING RESPONSE!!
Seriously, just tell me I'm SOL or something, don't smurfing ignore me.
It's not like I was expecting her to just ship one wipe (though technically she should have sent it, or refunded me my $1.25), but just SAY something.... anything!

I want to leave negative feedback because it's stupid to ignore me, but I feel lame leaving negative feedback over something that only cost $1.25.

I would leave negative feedback. I would never expect them to ship one wipe but if they are not answering to your email that's very unprofessional and you do atleast deserve a credit for $1.25 if they want to keep customers happy. They will lose business over something as small as that. You still got ripped off and they don't care to help you out with their mistake.

the diaper maker in me would suggest you send one more email. Cause sometimes I don't see an email hiding in my e-box, sometimes, I see it, mean to respond, then totally forget, etc. Not malicious ignoring, but you know. If you send her a second email and she doesn't reply, then it's more likely she's ignoring you, in which case, that would warrant negative feedback.

NO diaper maker should think that $1.25 is insignificant and not worthy of tending to. Customer satisfaction shouldn't have a price tag of when they start paying attention to the issues.

Makes sense, but I don't want to email her a second time for the same reason I don't want to bother with feedback, because it was only $1.25. And I'm not even mad about the wipe, it was the lack of a response period that pissed me off. But I can see how it might be easy to overlook an email.
I get what you're saying, and I do feel my $1.25 at least warrants a response of some sort, but. meh.
