Oh what the frak.....
I took Fiona over for a play date last night and it ran a little longer than I was expecting so DH had to get Felicity ready for bedtime.
I already had a fitted and wool cover out for him to change her into.
HE FRAKKING PUT A MICROFIBER INSERT ON TOP OF THE SOAKERS THAT WERE ALREADY IN THE FITTED. AAAAAAAAAAAND USED A Smurf TON OF BUTT PASTE.
So irritated right now, she's so red, and it hurt her for me to wipe. I guess I should be glad he gobbed on the butt paste since I'm sure it would have been worse if there wasn't a barrier.

Gah.

As PP put they come with their own and you can get extras. They are my favorite insert by far.

Not sure if they do. I figured out a wash cycle that worked best for my water.

I didn't realize that Alva was on holiday when I ordered my diapers. No wonder they haven't shipped yet!

Shoot, I use all of those. Borax, washing soda, baking soda, fels naptha and oxy clean.

How do you wash yours?

We are about to move, and I think the town is city water, but I've heard it's hard water. What do you use to wash yours?

I use Country Save. I do a cold rinse without detergent, hot wash with detergent, and 2 cold rinses.

How hot is the hot rinse? I was reading on the Alvababy site to not use water over 86 degrees.

I have no idea, probably a little hotter than bath water? I have Alvas and they're fine after being washed in hot.
