Catelynn and Tyler

My heart just breaks for them as birth parents. I know they chose to give Carly up and it was what was best for her but it still breaks my heart every time I see them cry. And when they call her and Theresa says "It's catelynn and tyler" knowing she will never call them mommy and daddy. I've always wanted to adopt but at the same time I have endless sympathy for birth parents.

They call themselves 'parents'. I don't feel sorry for them, they made the right choice.

They're not her parents they are Caitlin and Tyler.

They make it obvious PLENTY of times they're very happy with their choice. The occasional cry doesn't make me feel bad for them. They're happy, the baby's happy, it's a happy situation.

i think they definitely made a good decision.

But if mtv never gave them the opportunity to be on the show maybe they would have not been great parents if they had not been on the show.

MTV didn't make them make that decision. They did it because their home life is unstable and her mom and his dad are smurfed in the head and on drugs.

It's not that it is just sad because it would be hard to give up your baby and only see them once a year. I just couldn't imagine what that must feel like. It just makes me sad because it was a hard choice to make. I could never do it.

It's not THEIR baby.

You couldnt do it doesn't make their choice "sad"

Biologically it IS their baby. Catelynn carried her for 9 months it doesn't make her a mom but she will always be carly's biological MOTHER. You can't change biology. I don't know about you but I have a strong connection to the baby i'm carrying it's a bond nothing and nobody could ever break.
