I won't be putting him on the birth certificate - however I will be seeking child support (I wish I didn't have to, but I will need it...I won't be able to afford daycare without it...). Once I seek support, he can petition for custody/visitation, and I know he will. The problem is he won't be doing it for the baby you know? He'll be doing it out of spite. I'm working with an attorney now to do what we can. Hopefully the fact that he's 14k in arrears with his 11 year old son and the fact that he's currently commiting marriage fraud (married an illegal for money so they can get citizenship) will really not favor him well in the court.

I don't think you can ask for childs support if he's not on the birth certificate. If he's not on the birth certificate then he is not legally the father therefore doesn't have to pay anything.

Yes you can actually. The court will probably order a paternity test, but just because the babys father isnt on the birth certificate, doesnt mean support doesnt have to be paid.

Yes, I can. I teach civil law for a living, so I'm quite familiar with the process. All I have to do is seek support, and as soon as I file the petition, he will be in a position to establish paternity...either by acknowledging to the courts on his own when questioned, or by taking a paternity test (at his cost). He will then be recognized as the father, but still won't be on the birth certificate.

ooh..yeah, i'd assume there would have to be some proof and they'd ask for a paternity test.

aw im sorry. What an ass he is. She is so beautiful how could he not say she was his.

Jessica's father was really sweet, and somehow things changed. I havent heard from him in two months. But one things for sure, after what his brother and his family have said he's said about me, he isnt ever coming near my home again. Ever!

A good man wont be bothered by your current pregnant state lol or excess weight for that matter. He should like you for who you are, and stand up for you as well, even if it may not be his place to do so. My new guy has already proved himself more than worthy in more ways than I can count, and while yes, he does jokingly make fun of me for "getting fat" but when it comes down to it, he tells me he doesnt mean it and that Im beautiful exactly the way I am. Keep your chin up, and dont close the door just because youre pregnant... Believe me, I received that advice not too long ago from a bunch of different BG girls  

I also had a question about that. im not putting my babys daddy on the birth certificate,but for my baby to be on AHHCCS i have to go thru the child support stuff. and i no he will not go do the paternity test. when we did talk he had a warrant out already because he didnt go takea paternity test for this other girl. so what do i do then? do they still help you?
