help...how do i explain this to a 9 year old

my little sister who is 9 is spending a few days at my house. well my SO and i just get done having sex and are laying in our bed still naked mind you well i had his shirt on and she starts talking to me. the guest room is down stairs i didn't even hear her come up the steps. now my door wasn't wide open because i have a 2 year old and a newborn go listen for but it was gapped so i don't know what she saw or how long she was actually standing there. what am i supposed to say to her. how do i explain to her why he was naked. i don;t even know what all she saw. i feel so bad. i don't want her to go home and say something to my mom and my mom not know what actually happened. help this has never happened to me before.

Is nudity something she's never been exposed to before? Just tell her that it's your house, and sometimes you relax naked.

I would talk to your Mom about that before telling her anything. I'm all for being honest though and I don't 9 is too young for that.

Ask her what she saw and go from there, it seems to be the only way I can see explaining it to her... I had a friend who caught their folks doing it around that age and their mom told them they were wrestling..

I'd tell your mom what happened and not tell her anything unless she asks about it. It's not your place to tell her anything about sex.

You'll just embarrass her. Chances are, she already has a clue what you were doing. No one is in the wrong, it's not like you planned on her seeing anything.
