Baby Drop?

How do you know when your baby drops? I have heard of the term before but how exactly do you know if it happened?

There should be a smurf ton of pressure down there if the baby drops. And you can breathe better from what I understand

idk, mine never did. and i went past my due date. i didn't know that could even happen.

I agree you feel a lot of pressure down there.

I feel like the baby is going to fall out, so I know she dropped.

with my first i didnt even notice i dropped till i posted a picture on fb of myself and everyone was like wow u dropped so i looked at the last pregnancy picture of myself and could really see the difference lol. other signs that u dropped are lots of pressure

Thanks for the answers   Helped me a lot. I don't think she has dropped(I do feel quite a bit of pressure though)I think she is just pushing against the surface(not very comfortable might I add...). She could have I just may not notice the difference looking in a mirror...

I went to the dr today and he could feel the baby's head when he exam me. My stomach doesn't look like I've dropped at all and little man is still in my ribs off and on. I felt the baby's head move into position a couple of days ago. Lots and lots of pressure on my vagina but it doesn't feel like he's going to come out. It's pretty cool when I feel him turn his head sideways even though I have to pee immediately after. Dr. is hoping I make it another 2 weeks.:-)

I know he dropped because I feel a ton of pressure bordering on pain, like a lot of the other girls said, and also when he has the hiccups I feel it jiggle right above my vagina lol. I can tell the difference in the mirror but as for breathing, it's not any easier and my ribs still hurt like hell from his feet.
