BF to formula?
posted 6th May
Couple questions. I had to switch to soy formula because after a few easy experiments I have found out that little Nate has a milk allergy. Go figure. I did too as a kid, couldn't drink cows milk 'till about 12. Anyyyywho. I'm obviously not breastfeeding anymore, what's the best way to ween? Straight pumping every 2 hours, or longer, or what? And..at 6 weeks and 4 days how much formula should Nathan get? I've never bottle fed so I'm not quite sure. Any information will help!! Thanks a bunch!

i can't answer your question sorry, but when my daughter's pedi thought she was allergic to milk he had me cut out all milk from my diet. i wasn't allowed any dairy products. i'm not sure if this is something you could possibly try if you wanted to continue bfing?

I had to switch to soy too when amory was smaller, thus another reason why i stopped bf'ing... to as how much for him to take, I would say give him 4, if he wants more then try 6, n if he doesnt eat it all you'll see about how much he's ate.
