bad ear infection

a week ago my 4 year oldson started complaining of his ear hurting so the next day i took him to the doc and they said he had a severe ear infection and has a hole in his ear drum that is actually draining fluid... they put him on amoxicillin and ear drops. all the sudden he started getting fevers, so on saturday when he was still running fever i took him back to the doctor, and they changed him toomnicef, which she said was one of the strongest antibiotics. well today he still was running fever and now vomiting.... so i took him back to the doctor. now they are giving him shotsofantibiotics,he had them today and he has to go back for the next two days to get more of them. i have felt so hopeless the last couple of days like im not doing something right.... this is the part of being a mommy i dont like, when i cant fix it when hes sick.... i feel so sorry for those parents who have children with more illnesses and not being able to do anything for the kids....
