Tattoos & peircings during pregnancy.

i haven't quiet figured out why you're not supposed to get tattoos while you're pregnant... I've heard quiet a few times that your not... and when 'i got my lip pierced back in December before I knew I was pregnant, it even had a thing that you had to sign saying you werent pregnant...
So does anyone know why this is? Not the singing the paper, but why you're not supposed to get tattoos while pregnant. I've been wanting to get another since my grandpa passed away, but I'm going to wait till my baby girl is here and get 2 at the same time... putting me at an even 10 whoo hoo...

risk of infection..
I've also heard it can be harder for piercings to heal while you're pregnant, since your body is focusing everything on making a baby...

im not 100% sure but i think its because it can send an infection to the baby if it gets infected not im not positve but thats what id heard so im going to stay and watch this post lol!!

Infections..dirty shops can give you HIV or hep b...

And it's because of risk of infection. If it does get infected, you could risk loosing your baby.

She did not know she was pregnant*Mrs. von Sydow* so chill out
Anyways, its just risk of infection. There really isnt any other reason why you cant get a piercing. Tattoos can throw off blood work if you need it done which is another reason along with infection why you shouldnt get one.
Its always best to save body modification in any way until after the baby.
