Tutu dress makers

I make tutus but have not made dresses yet. What length do you usually cut the tulle and what length and width for the crochet headband? Thank you.

I can't remember what size crochet I used...it was like 5 or 6 inches wide I believe. The length depends on the kids length...just measure it from where the crochet ends to where you want it to end and cut it an inch or 2 more than you would use to count in poof. Scuse the messiness of it. lol She had been playing.

I bought them online on ebay it was like 6 of them for so much...they are best for infants because my daughter barely fit into that one and she wasn't even 2 quite yet.

Oh ok do u just buy the headbands on eBay and u were saying if too big cut it right? I saw some on there but mostly 5 inch by 5 and some 5 by 6.5 so I was confused on what size. I want to make for babies mostly or up to 12 months so newborn to 12 month...

Don't cut the crochet unless you know how to fix it cuz I sure don't. lol 5-6 inches should be fine. They stretch a lot. This is the size I got.
