Not as bad as people make them out to be.
It gets cold...but it's usually a dry cold. When it snows, it's usually melted by the end of the day....2 days for a blizzard. haha.

You'd love it. The farther north you go, and in the mountains, gets more snow...but where I lived it was gone as fast as it came. And there's so much to do....the best hiking and whatnot.
