30 Day shred challenge??

Hey Everyone... I am a newbie here. I have a little 1 year old and I will be trying for another baby in the coming months. Before I do that, I want to get myself Fit and Healthy. I am taking the 30 Day shred challenge and then onto Ripped in 30. Would anyone like to join me on this journey? If anyone is looking for a fitness buddy to help motivate them, etc! I know I could do with a little help. I suck at motivating myself I have just started a personal blog about 3days ago and I will be keeping track and keeping a daily diary on there if anyone would like to follow and join in. Ye I think so too. These last few months I am constantly starting new workout regimes. I just cant stick to them.
The 30 Day shred is actually a DVD by Jillian Michaels. Its basically 3 levels you have to complete. Each level you do for 10 days. It is a mix cardio and weights but when I started this challenge a few months back I just used bottled water. I gave up after 10 days I have read some really great reviews from it. The workout is only 25 minutes long. That includes the warm up and cool down. This is perfect for me because I don't get a lot of time as my little guy is into everything. He sure keeps me on my toes.

That sounds awesome, some workouts last around 50 mins and that's just too long. I'll try and download them so we can do them together

Got my measurements and took some photos! I'm off to do Workout 1, day 1 since my kid is napping... I'm excited!

It did go by really quickly but I wanted to die all through the jumping jacks I'm SO out of shape! But I pulled through! Let's see how we do tomorrow

lol. Tell me about it! I hate when she says that she has 300lb people doing them. Makes me feel even worse.
I find it hard doing the jumping jacks ever since having my little dude I really have to do my kegal excercises every day
What time is it were you are at? It is like 8.25pm here in Ireland.

LOL Yes, and at the same time you look at those skinny chicks on the video and wonder what they need it for.
The butt kicks were really hard too, my butt just kept jumping up and down, it`s pathetic
It's 4:32 pm down here! I still have a few hours until I get round to cooking dinner and all that jazz.
Are you on any sort of diet?

Ye I know, but the chick with the curly hair, she is a total slacker when she thinks the camera is not focusing on her and when Jillian is not looking.
I am just trying to eat clean. Not too clean though Im trying to cut back on chocolate and eat more fruit and Veg but I will still have a cheat day here and there. If I see that it is not working, then I will prob have to change it up. I will stick to about 1300 cals a day. Today is my 2year wedding anniversary so of course, I got chocolates off the hubby and the parents so I will be picking at those over the course of the challenge
What about you? You following any diet in particular. Its time to put my little boy to bed so if I dont get back on later, I will be back 2moro

Well congrats on your 2nd year anniversary, how exciting!
I'm not dieting at all, I love junk food and it sucks, for the past month I've been cutting down on fast food and junk food and I've lost 6 or 7 pounds. I should really count calories and all that but I suck at it I do really good for two or three days and then I forget items or mess up and I lose motivation.
Ok, see you tomorrow! I'm sure we'll be sore as hell

How are you feeling today?? I am hurting!! I love it
My legs are sooo sore and my abs are burning. I done about 50 crunches before getting into bed last night so that has probably contributed to the pain
I feel ya on the junk eating. We always get a fast food on the weekends and every weekend I tell myself that this is the last one. lol. Well done on your weight loss this month. Thats awesome. With that workout you are supposed to eat around 1300 - 1400 calories. I just find it hard eating that many calories in healthy food.
