help with assistance

i have a 2 year old and am currently 6 weeks pregnant with number 2. things are really rocky with SO and i and only getting worse. but im a SAHM and cant afford to leave. iv been trying to find some sort of assistance but everything i find online is fake or not helpful. can someone please help me find some kind of housing/job/ food assistance in florida? id be really greatful.

Does florida have foodstamps?

Call your local social services office. They will direct you to the proper locations. Start with United Way or Catholic Social Services. You don't have to be catholic to use them.

you can get on WIC(women infant children) & that'll give you pregnancy food & food for baby after its born & foodstamps can help feed your household

I would go down to your local social services office and find out what you qualify for and also try WIC.

i got denied foodstamps. because i live in my fathers foreclosed house. since its technically his house they wont give them to me cuz they say he is supporting me. even thou he doesnt. i was in a 5 month battle with them over that.

i have to get my proof of pregnancy wen i go to my doctor befoer i cango sign up for wic

that sucks big time, any chance you can get WIC? they are alot easier to go through(from my personal experience)

i had them wn my son was first born, they were alot easier, i have to wait til after my doctors for the proof of pregnancy first.

If the house is foreclosed, how are you still living there?

its going threw foreclosure i should say , the bank hasnt taken it back yet. but we got notice that the attorys have 60 days to fine something on the house or the case is dropped and they have to start over because they havent filed anything on the house in 10 months.
