That is probably why then. If you paid him rent, they would let you get food stamps and what not.

not here i paid my mom rent i live in florida as well if i am under 21 and still living with her with kids no matter what or in her house hold they will use her income. Once im 21 they no longer use it because u should u be supporting ur self at 21.
