And not that this even matters, I recall stating that I'm even smurfing Pro-Life so much anyumore. Nor am I Pro-Choice. I disagree with abortion and the option of abortion majority of the times, but I don't agree with nor qualify for some of the attributes of the political term "Pro-Life". For example, I don't give a smurf what you do with your body. It is the unborn baby's body and life that I'm concerned about. I am open-minded to the fact that there are situations where abortion, as sad as it is, must be optional. It would make absolutely zero sense for me to tell a woman whose pregnancy is killing her to stay pregnant so both mother and child can die, expecting the baby to somehow survive that scenario, and I could not tell a rape victim that she's awful or a whore for aborting the product of her assault, however I may disagree. I'm not out to enfringe on your rights, so you can stop being paranoid about that.
I'm sorry if you had any unpleasant experiences with fanatical Pro-Lifers before, I won't doubt that there are some who can be considerably cruel and quite ignorant of others' suffering. However, I highly doubt that the idea of a Pro-Life person you've been having is anywhere similar to me or my perspectives and life experiences.

I also pretty much doubt that Lillith and other women here who consider themselves "Pro-Life" are remotely similar to the stereotype you hold of us, as well.
Perhaps its best if you were open to that possibility?

From what I've experienced with being Pro-Life, not a lot of those people are as terrible as this person's impression of them seems to be. :/

I always thought I was prolife but realized the meaning as I got older. I am prochoice but I would never judge those who are Pro-life unless you state your opinions like an idiot.
For some think that everyone has to have the same opinion. In a perfect world that may happen but not this one.

I've told myself and others that I was "Pro-Life" since I was fourteen, maybe thirteen. To me, it simply meant that I was against abortions and only that. I didn't acknowledge that it would make me believe that abortion should be illegal until I found myself in a debate online on a separate site xD And I guess I never truly took the definition of 'pro-life' literally until I came here.

I recently decided that I was more in the middle, I wasn't for taking away a choice or illegalizing abortion when it's necessary in some circumstantial situations, however I don't agree with....well, I guess having the choice to have an abortion 'casually', I guess you can say. :/

I've considered being Pro-choice for a short period of time, so I can kind of understand where a lot of you are coming from.   And even if I never thought i could change my stance, I'd still respect your opinion as it is.

And I agree with what you said about respecting opinions!   One thing you have to learn abut the world in order to survive one day imo is that we all think differently.
Although to me. the world would be a pretty chaotic place if we were all the same, especially concerning mindsets. lol

I say stick with what you believe is right for you. I am Pro-choice simply because it's a womans choice what she does with her body but abortion may not be for me. I honestly don't know since I've never been put in that position before and if the situation arised I would probably think differently.

This world would be so black and white if we all had the same opinions. Quite boring if you ask me.   we all need a little mix up every so often.

There just comes a time when people need to respectfully state their opinions which is not what happens 9 times out of 10. Yes there are some people that warrant the bitchy attitudes because they don't know how to state their opinions respectfully which obviously is not always the case.
