Breast Fed Baby and Bottles

posted 11th Jun '12
I plan to EBF this one for as long as possible. I have BF my boys in the past but always had a milk drop when I had to start pumping after returning to work. Since I am a SAHM now I am not to concerned about that.

Anyways just for the occassional bottle feeds when and if I have to leave baby.. What bottles do you recommend?

In the nicu the lactation Consultant and speech therapist (the lady who makes sure ebf babies can eat properly) HIGHLY recommended medela slow flow wide bottom nipples, they worked with us daily for three weeks. He loves his bottle and has no problem switching b/w breast and bottle

This is what happened with my kids. Once I returned to work they got lazy on the boob. Plus I was having a hard time pumping, stressful situation with my boss, and I couldnt keep up. I am going to avoid a bottle as much as possible but we need them here just incase.

Is that the brand of the bottle as well?
Could you link me to what they look like?

I have never been able to successfully breast feed, so I have no PERSONAL input...but I came across these earlier and they looked awesome.

I have a few friends who do breast feed, and they swear by Breastflow.

Love breast flow bottles!
my friends son who is only bottle fed had a hard time drinking out of it. he got mad and threw it. That told me it REALLY does work like a boob!
