::stupid question:: about having a misscarriage

Okay, Me and DH had decided to start TTC #2 in about a month or so if everything was giong well with my son and my job and a bunch of otehr aspects in life...okay anywho i was 8 days late with AF, and took a test 2 days ago and it was positive, i took a blood test today and it said positive, then i started cramping real bad, and i went to the bathroom and had some bright red blood and passed a decent sized clot... now im having some brown stuff(old blood im assuming).. im gonna make a doctors appt tomorrow...a friend of mind says i was just having a chemical pregnnacy?..

just because you had brown blood and you had a clot it doesnt mean that you had a miscarriage -- i passes 3 clots, and was bleeding very heavily --that was at 7 weeks and i am now 22 -- why didnt you go to the ER?

isn't it a bit soon to start for another child already? ur first child isn't even six months old yet!
anyways, if the blood was bright red and clotted then yes sadly, it was most likely a miscarriage, but it is smart to go to the doctor and make sure.

Don't listen to your friend unless she studied medicine and then graduated. Don't listen to us unless somebody sends you a copy of thier degree. GO TO A DOCTOR. Not tommorow. Today.

because i remember bleeding at first with my son and didn't think anything about it untill my friend said i might be having a misscarriage. my hubby is on my way home to get me and take me right now

I had the same thing at week 6 or 7, now i have a baby girl who came out perfectly healthy with no complications  

Until you get your HCG levels drawn again, there will be no way to know for sure. If they are going up at a decent rate, it should be okay. Unfortunatly, b/c you are passing clots, there is a chance you passed the embryonic tissue already. However, and please know this is not to diminish your pain and fear in any way, but whatever the outcome, you were able to concieve and that alone is a wonderful and positive sign. Try to keep your wits about you, things very well may be fine. Many women bleed early on.

we're thinking about ttc again this summer when we move... my son will be 6 months.

wow! people move so fast these days! I can't imagine wanting two kids under age two! We'll start on number two when this little one in me is about a year and a half to two years old. plus doctors say it's best for your body to wait at least a year and a half between pregnancies!

I am just surprised peole move so fast, plus like I said doctor's recommend giving your body a year and half at least between pregnancies to recover.
