Does anyone else get so tired of all the video games they play, and not helping out with the house and stuff...REALLY why do we have to do it all....

I think you need to talk to him and explain to him, but in a friendly way and not a motherly way. It will annoy him otherwise. I have been there and done that, but I cant talk because I play games with him most of the time when he isnt working!! I know that when I fussed at him for it, it was just as annoying to him as it was for him to play all day and not help out.

You know what I love? My guy will let me sleep in one day on the weekend and while I am asleep he does nothing but watch television while our daughter plays. But when I wake up I take the baby and then have to do all the crap, like unload the dishwasher, the 8 loads of laundry, vacuum, all that great fun stuff. And if I complain he points out that he let me sleep that morning! Like he did me a huge favor! Freaking amazing!!

i say when hes gone unplug it and hid it where he wont find it until he starts helping. im sooo glad mine doesnt like them that much and if he gets to that point ill hide it at someone elses house until he gets off of his lazy butt

Actually I think that's what my husband says about me when I'm not around. Every time he comes home I'm playing my Snood game, and he always seems to be the one to do all the cleaning anymore... I hate being the lazy one, I should get up and do more.

Do you need Blaine to have a talk with him lol. He's actually been really good about not playing games that much since David got here. He's does his fair share and usually more than that. Hopefully he'll snap out of it one of these days.

I'm sorry, I really hope it gets better, it's not fair for you to have to feel that way. Hopefully he becomes more understanding.

I know then when I say I want to do something he says we are doing something were watching TV. I want him to do something romantic and you know what Im going to to tell him to plan something....  and surprise me

Yeah tell him he needs to start doing that stuff now, because once you get a baby here it will be even harder!

I have never had this problem. My guy has never really liked video games or computer. He's a tv watcher, lol! He's also really good when it comes to housework. I am definitely blessed.

You girls are lucky...I never get to sleep in past 6.30am because the TV & sony 3 is riiight besides our bed  

I worry that our child will grow up to be violent because I fall asleep to the sound of guns being shot and people screaming and that's usually what I wake up to as well. I've told him that when we get our own place he's having a special room for his sony so we don't have to listen to anything.

I've only just moved in to his house with his family and already I do more cleaning then he does. I wash up, I vaccum, I clean his car...and as soon as I ask him to stand up so I can make the bed...he gets pissed off because I'm 'disturbing him'.

I understand that it's how he relaxes...but he has a baby on the way and I don't want to have to look after two babies. But either way, I still love him heaps and wouldn't change who he is for the world. it's just one of those annoying hobbies I have to put up with
