Who else has a hearing loss

Anyways...My daughter has a moderate hearing loss with a normal high frequency hearing.Anyone else's LO have this?Also, how is your LO's speech(if he/she has a hearing loss).

My dh has tenitis, I think that's what it's called

I have a hearing loss and I was a late talker. How old is your LO? I have congential hearing loss. I am deaf in my left ear and loosing my hearing in my right ear.

My daughter is going to be 3 in August.I also have a HL as well, but I'm profoundly deaf(you'd never know it because I talk fine ,and I hear well with my hearing aids)...

Is she talking at all? I am very lucky that both of my boys dont have hearing loss.

Yes, she currently is in speech two days a week.Of course, she has a speech delay,but she says 3-4 word sentences like"I want this" or"Give it to me"...stuff like that.As far as liek naming colors and animals, she can say those too.

Thats good. My son didnt start talking until he was 3 and a half. At least she is talking. My son at that age would only say car car car car car car car car car.. lol.

My son started talking at 3 too and that was the only word he could say for the longest time too.
