Oh this effing heat!

posted 11th Jun '12
Hey ladies. I'm brand new to this site and just getting a feel for things. I thought I'd go ahead with my first post though, since I could use some advice. The temperature is supposed to climb up to the nineties today and although I'd consider myself a sun worshiper, the combination of extreme heat and pregnancy makes me super miserable. Therefore, I was hoping that someone (or many someone's) might have some tips on how to stay cool and comfortable. A great big thanks in advance, and I hope you all have a great day!

blehh i feel for you I'm dying here and its 80 something . I had to buy an airconditioner. DRINK LOTS OF WATER! I try to go swimming every day to keep cool and have a fan infront of my face 24/7 or otherwise I'm not even able to breathe properly lol... I usually LOVEEE the summer, and still do but its tough when your lugging around all the extra weight. Goodluck and Welcome to baby gaga btw

Ice packs are great. A cool shower or foot bath feel great and keep you cool for a while. I used to walk around the house in my bikini and hop in the cool shower when I got sweaty and hot.

Spritz your clothes with water. It's like having a personal air conditioner.
