he ... wont ... sleep

Its 1130 and Nicholas will NOT go to sleep. He didnt nap today so I KNOW he is tired. He just wants to play!


Mommy is tired.

I can't like konk him in the head with a wood club right?

Just tell him you guys are going to play hide and seek, and he's the first seeker. He just needs to go lay in his bed, close his eyes, and count to 1 million

Ugh I've had this problem a lot with my two year old. It took me a million years to get her off the bottle but last night I was so desperate for sleep I gave her half a bottle of warm milk...and she was out in seconds. Maybe try warm milk? Also, I downloaded a lullaby app on my phone that plays music for up to 30 minutes. My daughter also likes heavy blankets and to have them cover her head.

My sons two if he has trouble sleeping I give him some books to look at till he falls asleep...I'll leave the door a bit open and leave the hall light on as a night light for him to read till he falls asleep. He's usually out pretty quickly after looking at some books.
