no period n 3 months and not pregnant... Plz read and write

Ok well I had my daughter 8 months ago. And i havent had a period since jan. And im scared. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. Is it true after having a baby that ur body takes up to 2 years to heal? Cuz i dont get why i havent had one. I might be a little stressed i think thats why too... And im not on ANY birthcontrol cuz i chose not too. which i should be but i mean i dunno im just so worried that something is wrong... I dont have insurance anymore to go see anyone.. so im screwed n that department... Are you breastfeeding?

I think that once you start to get your period regularly it should stay that way but I'm not 100% sure. I've been told that it takes about a year for you to be 100% yourself again but you should have regular periods unless your breastfeeding.

I had my son a year ago and my periods are very very off sometimes even 3 months apart...all i can say is just take another test in 2 weeks and see what happens and if it comes back negative get on bc woman! i know it may be expansive but a kid is alot more expansive!

It can take a while for your periods to be regular again, but it's not true that it takes 2 years for your body to heal. It's recommended that you wait a year after the birth to start trying again bt many many woen have had babies closer together just fine. You just have to take care of yourself. I had the same thing happen to me exactly, and I took a test 2 weeks later again and it came back positive. NOw I'm having another in October and baby #1, Neil, will be 18 months. happy testing.

are you stresed out or have you traveled a lot latly it could have something to do with it

Oh im not brestfeeding at all the lil one didnt want too lol. I know karen lol... I feel so strange and my fiance is going crazy that i havent had my period but i think next monday ima take another Pregnancy test becuz that would be 2 weeks from the last one i took. You could try taking a blood test at your dr office. My dr told me that home pregnancy tests don't always work with some people because the harmone isn't strong enough in your body. For me there is only 1 HPT that works the others come up negative. My SIL never had any luck with them. Took them 3 months in a row all said negative she was 3 months prego. IMO if you're really worried go to your doctor. They might have a better explanation too.

I have had your similar experience about 3 times in my life. When I was 16 I didnt have a period for 6 months, and everyone thought I was pregnant. I knew I wasnt cus I had never had sex, but they all insisted I take a million tests. Anyway it happened again when I moved out, and a few times more. I went to the doc several times, and they concluded it to be stress a few times. So it could be due to stress that you arent having a period, or another problem I had was my diet was poor, or you are working out too much. All of these ceased my period, but I fixed it back to normal. Make sure you are eating enough complete proteins, and you relax. If this doesnt work, you have to go in cus you might have something seriously wrong. Do everything in moderation, and it should work out.

She doesn't have insurance, so she can't afford to go to the doctor.

maybe try going to planned parenthood, you can get free or very cheep birth control w/them, that's what i did for like 2 years. and you can go in and get tested.

The planned parethood clinic around here goes by your income you dont need insurance.
