Sleeping

posted 10th Jun '12
Anyways we've been trying to get my son to stop having to be rocked to sleep and just go to sleep after his night time milk. Whenever me or hubby go to put him down and even get to the middle of the hall, he will just start freaking out. It's like he knows we're going to put him in his bed to sleep. Does anybody know why he might be doing this? He never did it before this. He goes to sleep right after we lay him down and leave the room, but getting there is the problem. Is he just scared to sleep?

Sounds like any other child who doesn't want to go to bed. My girls are 4 now and STILL do this. Granted, they do it most when they are over tired but, they will give me fits once in a while when I say "bedtime".

Matter of fact, Tori is doing it now! lol She has every excuse under the sun right now why she shouldn't be in bed. It is 45 min after I put them to bed and we are still playing the "I'm not sleepy" game. She has got up for water, hugs and kisses, potty ect... lol Pretty normal
