leaving potty out?

When I offer to take her to the potty she says no
So would it be a good idea to leave her potty out where she can get to it her self?

If she isn't ready, she isn't ready. Telling you no is one sign she isn't quite ready. Has she ever gone on the potty where it's at now?

Don't worry. It's not like 3 is super old or anything. My son turned 3 the middle of april & just got PT like 2 weeks ago. Don't push it, it's not worth the hassle IMO. When they're ready... it's a piece of cake.

You don't ask. Just bring them to the bathroom. If you give them a choice they will always say no.

OP- your daughter is only 2? I wouldn't even push it if she isn't ready. It's not supposed to be stressful. Maybe she just isn't ready?

my daugther is the same age as your son, she turned 2 april 23rd

agreed. my son is barely 2 and half and his been potty trained for 2 months. i used the 3 day potty training book. he was potty trained by the 3d day. i could email it to u if u want

His birthday is April 14th. I tried to PT around december & it was a complete disaster. I never knew how important it was for THEM to be ready... until now. It was seriously a walk in the park this time around, he did so well & only had a handful of accidents.

She's been using her potty very well actually sometimes she says yes but a lot of time no

I was just wondering if having the potty open to her whenever she needed would make her more inclined to do it
And she will be two next weekend :-). We've been practicing with the potty since about 18mos though but I've only recently been pushing it
