FRER "6 Days Sooner Test" Evap lines question

Okay, I know any line showing up AFTER the time limit is to be considered invalid or is an evaporation line.


Has anyone used the FRER "6 days sooner" test and gotten pink (not gray or white) evap lines AFTER the time limit? And if you have, did you go on to get a real BFP?

I've had this happen now with three different tests from two different boxes all from this brand during two different cycles (one at 13 DPO last cycle and at 8 & 11 DPO this go around).

Yes, I've had evap lines on FRER. They were also completely pink but def. evaps. Some were even within the time limit but because I pulled it apart, it caused the air to hit it & cause an evap line. Sucked, I was so disappointed each time  

I was hoping maybe someone had the same happen and it led to a BFP.

I thought from everything I've read here and on other sites that FRERs are the most reliable tests, but I think I'm going to retest in a day or two with a different brand.

his happened to me twice, w frer. i already knew i was prego, i had been testing every day for a week to make sure the lines got darker, and both tests in the box did this. it actually had no lines until about 15 min after the test window and then it had 2. but def evap. but im def prego! good luck!

Aw, that's great that you were definitely pregnant! I'm hoping for the same outcome, but month after month I see nothing but negatives. So, I just wanted to double check that this actually happens to other people so I don't get crushed when/if AF shows her hideous face in the next few days. Thanks for the reply though! : )

i can understand the frusteration love. it took 2 years to concieve my son, and then, when my son was 8 months old, i became pregnant again! turned out, i was timing it wrong, and so were my opks. w this pregnancy, we bd every other day, starting 7 days after af, and bd for 2.5 weeks, every other day, and boom, prego first month we did this! so if it isnt this month, hopefully next. have you tested again since the evap?

No need to test more, AF showed up very early this morning.  

I don't know if timing was our issue this go around. We tried something different and had sex nearly everyday (I know most people say not to do this or to do it every other day) so we definitely were in the time frame of ovulation. I think when AF goes away, we'll try every other day and then call it quits because we'll be at a year of trying by then.

yeah i have heard not to bd every day bc it lowers sperm count, so maybe that had something to do w it. good luck next month!!

It was worth a shot though to BD everyday. lol : )
