Well I think it would be okay if you got one, only if you helped her learn to take care of it properly and made sure she did so, KWIM?
All you have to do is research them and understand their needs, and you'll be fine

They have a particular odor like all animals do no matter what the size of the cage. I just don't like the way they smell lol.

And OP no they don't smell as bad as ferrets.

Oh, no not an aquarium at your home. I mean like here, we have the Tennessee Aquarium. It has penguins, sharks, fish, etc.

lol, pregnancy brain   but it's 4+ hours away and its a very nice one and a pretty penny to get in. Like 20 bucks per person and 15 per kid   lol

Yeah, my MIL and Grandma in law are shopping junkie, not joking they LOVE to buy crap   and live right down the road from me, so honestly my DD has everything a little 5 year old girl would want. So it's just a hard birthday to find something good lol plus with the baby coming i wanted to get something special, i dont know that might sound silly. But i was thinking about going outta town to my Mom's ( in Phoenix ) and take her to build a bear or something like that?!?! I'm in a small town that doesn't have anything fun to do lol
