Moby Wrap + Back Problems

Hey ladies.

So, I have alot of back problems. Including a full slipped disk and two bulging disks, and a form of scoliosis.

I would like to try to wear my baby this time around-- I only attempted a carrier with my daughter and it killed my back after about 10 minutes. My daughter was barely 3 months old at the time, so it wasn't like she was heavy or anything.

So, anyone with similar back problems? I'm already constantly in pain, but I really want to wear the newb. Is the Moby as comfortable as everyone says?

I have a broken Coccyx and Scoliosis. I plan on baby wearing, but I haven't tried it yet.

I used a moby style panel wrap with my daughter. I had no issues with it, when put on correctly, until she got too heavy. That was around 9 months I think?

my mom has slipped disks and bulging disks several actually in her neck and back. She use to wear my VERY heavy son in his moby wrap when she baby sat for me. He was almost 10lbs when he was born so.....

I wouldn't use a moby, I'd get an Ergo. I bought a k'tan, I have minor back problems from my days as a CNA and this one hurts my back. It's similar to a moby but without all the tying. It doesn't hurt my back as other carriers but it still hurts. I kind of wish I would of bought an Ergo instead.
