re: Is it bad that I hate these movements?

I'm 38 weeks and I swear this kid has a big bobble head! She's pretty much engaged and whenever she moves it, I get a strong achy sort of pain. She's doing a lot of head banging tonight lol. Loves to push off my side with her feet and shove her butt into my ribs lol. 13 more days til edd! Hopefully not many more than that lol.

I was just saying this to DH the other day.
I loved it when it first started (15wks) But now at almost 27wks, it starts to get on my nerves. It's not the movement or kicks that bother me, but like you said...it's right above the pubic bone and feels very odd. Sometimes it feels like he's actually down IN my crotch.

I was measured the other day and I'm measuring right on target, and my uterus is almost on my diaphram, but LO still hangs out really low most of the time.
I guess I should be happy he's not kicking my in the ribs, but I wouldn't mind him moving up a little.

I didnt drop with either of my girls, so when people talked about it I didnt think it was a big deal lol..He dropped at 35 weeks and my OB was like, "he's pretty much falling out, that's how low he is" haha. Yeah I can definitely feel it. OUCH!

I thought for a while I had low fluid or something, because his kicks HURT so bad!
I'm actually technically due the same time you are (well, the 28th) but they moved my date up a week because hes measuring so big.

Every time he moved my entire body jolted and Im not a little girl to begin with. But no, just big and strong I guess lol. I said pretty soon I'm gonna start seeing limbs busting out through my skin haha

I dont get a lot of movement anymore and havent for about a month. Hes definitely getting ready to exit I think (and hope haha).

If your little man came today, would you be ready? I still have stuff that needs to get done! Eek!

Do you cramp up at all down low when she moves her head like that?

Yep. It's very uncomfortable. To the point where I wish I could be in labour and push her out at the time..like as much as I know it will hurt if I can just get her head out I won't have to put up with the head banging anymore lol.

Yes! haha. I'll be talking or walking or whatever and it happens and it completely takes my breath away and I double over. Not much longer and it will be over!

Pretty much all ready. I'm going to wash everything today...I've got the car seat installed though and pretty much everything else I need. It's like as much as I want it to be over, I'm not ready...mentally. Haha.

yes i understand exactly how you feel, I'm 37 weeks as well and he gets me in the tendents at the front of ur pelvis my god they hurt, the other thing i really cant stand is when he has the hiccups it drives me nuts, lets just hope these next few weeks go really fast!!

Ohhh I totally agree and this is my 3rd! lol I was just telling SO tonight that I dont know if I'm mentally prepared for another newborn lol. Part of me just wants him to stay put haha

You are much more prepared than I am lol. I need to get moving!
