mirena screwed my body up big time....i would bleed for like a month straight then go 6 months with no period at all...it also increased the pain of my cramps...i had it taken out after 2 years

I HATE Mirena. I bled non-stop for 6 weeks after insertion. I was already 9 months PP too!
It bloated me up, gave me acne, horrible mood swings and kicked off a horrible migraine attack. I took it out, and within 2 weeks my symptoms started to clear up. That thing is evil.
I had stopped bleeding by the next day after having it put in and have gotten regular periods its been about 4 months occasionally I spot between periods and I don't remember bad cramps
