I don't think its ANYONE'S right to say who should and should not be a mother. Ignorance won't get you very far on this site. Mind your own damn business!! Focus on YOUR OWN kid and set of mothering skills!!

Hun, I gotta say this....You are a mom. Just because your LO is not here physically, doesn't mean you're not a mom. You're a mom to an angel baby.

No one is ever ready to be a mom. Hell, we planned my DD. I babysat as a teenager. But it is a whole different ball game when that kid is actually here. No one is ever financially stable enough either. I don't care how rich you are or how big your house is, it can all be taken away from you. My daughter doesn't have the nicest clothes, and my husband and I may go without something to make sure she is clothed and fed, but I love my daughter. And we all love our children. That, dear, is what matters. My grandma adopted my mom, and uncle. She gave them her heart. May not have been a mother in the true sense of the word, but she loved them.

My mother is a drug addict and alcoholic. I was raised soley by my father. Guess who I consider the better mother?
