re: Stimulus Check

We got our last Friday!

mine said for awhile that our info was incorrect blah blah blah but i checked mine today and it said we were getting 1187.50....so if urs isnt coming up right just give it a day or two cuz mine did the same thing....i dont understand why they said we were getting a check tho cuz we did direct deposit.....errrr

Nope. Havent gotten mine either. A lot of us haven't. Dont sweat it yet.

im mad as hell even though i got my refund direct deposit i have to wait till june to get my rebate because i used a 3rd party to do my taxes  ...might i add that is bull shit

I completely agree with you...never again will I use HR Block...first of all their rates are ridiculous, and now this! I'll just efile mine for free next year, and they can kiss my a$$!!

It is not H&R Blocks fault. I am assuming that you got the rapid refund loan. When you get that type of a loan the irs send that company a paper check. Even though you got your money DD the IRS issued a paper check. I do agree their fees are outragous!

thats the worst part i efiled, i even stayed on hold for 45 minz with the irs just to see whatgoing on. Owell i get my check on june 13th, which is also my bday what a great b day present.

Is the stimulus check something that they can take if you have back taxes or past child support? I don't have any of that but my husband does and we filed jointly.....so I'm wondering if it's something they can take to put on those type of bills he has?

The crappy thing is, we didn't use their loan service or rapid refund, but got charged for it. Still took two weeks to get the refund. We just got that card that has your refund on it. That's another issue unresolved with them. My DB is not good at paying attention to details....oh well though, lesson learned.

i dont know...its just in the letter the IRS sent us and its on the computer when we pull up to look forour stimulus payment.....i guess cuz he';s navy and we have a kid? i dunno, his command told us the same thing too

we also used H&R block and it sux.....but we calle the IRS directly (because we moved and they said they were sending us a paper check) so they are going to send out ours....they said it will def be mailed out no later than the 16th

Yes, if there is anything that keeps you from getting a refund, such as back taxes, child support, student loans, etc..., they can also take this.

Ugh I want that money too. we went through HR block and didnt get the rapid refund thing we didnt care but we had them take the money we owe them out of our refund so because of that we have to wait for the check in the mail too even though we got direct deposit. Thats screwed up.. oh well thats the gov for ya. I just want that money now already!
