I'm confused. Is this like one twin didn't survive? Or was miscarried? Our like adopted out or something?

It could be from Vanishing twin, one passed away, one was lost during the pregnancy.

OP: I've been fasanatied by twins and I day dreamed out one but I know I am not one.

If one twin was miscarried, stillborn, etc.

I, personally, am a womb twin survivor. My mom miscarried my sister at about 3-4 months.

Ok that makes sense why its called womb twin. Sorry to hear that, I would guess that would be tough to even grasp the idea there could of been another you so to speak

Quoting [yo.]:" birth rape?"

women that swear their births were taken away from them by doctors who "force" procedures on them.

You may think whatever you think. ANY pregnancy is a little life. If one dies, it's okay to mourn that. It's a miscarriage. There was a real baby there. You can think what you want, but please don't hate on the people who actually have feelings about this.

Yeah, it's crazy. It's even harder to take when you have no one really to talk about it with and people just think you're crazy.

If it helps, I don't think your crazy. I would wonder too. Just like I'm sure women who miscarry wonder about the child they could of had

Lol it does help. I feel weird. It's like I miss her, but I never really met her, ya know. That's why I always just kinda didn't talk about it and let it just be thoughts because I thought that it wasn't really a normal thing to think about. Now that I know that it's like 'real' I guess you could say, and that other people go through the same thing, I feel not so alone with it.

im was a twin but never think about it. not to sound crude idk if this does but im quite happy that there wasnt two more children in our lives (my twin brothers had a triplet as well) especially one so close to me, i mean i dont know what it woudl be like, but now that i know what it was like without, im pretty content with that.

i could see if someone was an only child and always wanted a sibling or something like that...or whatever i guess, lots of reasons to want someone there. I know it must be very hard on a mother who was expecting twins and for whatever reason could only have one.
but idk. i learned about my twin and just kinda think of it as a little factoid. never wonder what if and never mourn its loss.
