Today things have taken a turn for the worst :-( they are not sure if he is gonna make it.

Update: Mom is with him now his lung collapsed and he needed another blood transfusion . Which helped a lot they repositioned him to get his lung to open back up and have him on antibiotics for the possible skin infection . As of right now his blood pressure is fine and he is doing better. Please everyone keep praying the power of prayer is what I believe keeps this little man fighting!

He is a precious little boy. I'm keeping him, and his entire family in my prayers.

Baby Skyler

Skyler Update... Today overall he has had a much better day then the prior 2 days. Today he lost 60 grams of swelling, which is a very good thing. He is also much less blue. He looks more like himself today. His breathing rate has been good today. He is off his dopamine and because he has been stable off of it for over 24 hours now they were able to take his uac line out. They did find his pic line is infected with MRSA. They are now giving his antibiotics through his pic line in hopes it will clear the infection out of the line. Although that is very uncommon, but nothing is impossible with the Lord. Also, they have had to stop his feedings. His xray showed his small intestine is dilated. Meaning his intestines could be infected or that he is not digesting his feeds. If they were to continue his feeds his intestines could rupture. They will do another xray at 6am to see if his BM today helped. His Dr's seem very "hopeless" for Skyler's survival but I am holding on to hope. One moment at a time. His life is so very fragile but in the Lord's hands! Thank you so very much for continuing to pray and read my posts. This week especially has been a very rough road but all of your sweet thoughts, comments, and support has helped me so very much!!!

Many doctors have been proven wrong when they think something is "hopeless"...thats when you tell them its not up to them its up to the baby and GOD

This is a positive update despite a few set backs. But your right, it's in God's hands and as long as the Dr's don't give up on him, I think he's going to be a miracle!!!

praying for your sister and baby and family... god is awesome and could always fully recover this baby... god does miracles... your family is in my thoughts and prayers...
