40 wks, 3 days, 1cm, 90%, engaged

Anyone else go past forty weeks, have a baby that is fully engaged but your cervix is only 1 cm and you were 90% thinned out. How long was it until you went into labor? Were you induced? I am sooo ready to meet this little guy...

At 39w6d, I was between 1-2 cm dilated, 100% effaced, and at a +2 station. I went into labor on my own 5 days later and had her at 40w5d.

Black Cohosh under your tongue every 30 min - hour for four hours and I place all my money you'll be in labor tonight or tomorrow. That's what I did. Bought it at local health food store. Get so lemons and it will dilute the taste.

what is black cohosh/where would I find it?

Is an herb that was used by Native Americans. Best potency if you can get it organic/ wildcraftef but if not that's okay. I don't know if vitamin shoppe would have it but any natural health food store should.

Do NOT use Black Cohosh if you have platelet issues, have history of bleeding issues or have clotting issues. It is an anticoagulant which means it significantly increases the risk of post partum hemorrhage.

I went at 41 weeks 6 days, he was fully engaged for the last 2 weeks and I was dialated to 3... I still had to be induced... and he is STILL a procrastinator.... lol

I had DD at 40w3d   She was engaged for weeks before. Lost my mucus plug the previous morning, went to the doctor and was 2-3. Had her the next afternoon just after 5. Keep in mind, you have to start somewhere, and you can go from 1-3,4 in a matter of a few hours. Good luck, hopefully your LO comes soon!
