The European Stroller market Is just amazing I wish the offered the brands here. Its been costing me a fortune in Import fees just to get thise Beautys into canada :-)... The Only Real Brand i like here are Pegs and valcos and even The Mountain buggys Nothing else has realy impressed me as much as the European Made buggys.

My Nexed Purchase Will be the bebe Confort Air 6 And Opera Seat Trying to find a Used one Here instead of Importing from Italy But I may have to Import If I cant find one by Spring..

Hi Victoria,

I read your posting and was interesting in finding out how you ordered your Mutsy stroller into Canada? I live in Florida but I am originally from Canada. I have had no luck finding a company that will ship directly. I love the look of the Urban Rider and would appreciate any help or info you can give me.

Thanks!

Hi I tried the bebe Confort Air 6 with the different seats (such as the Opera Seat ) and although it's a good stroller, I wasn't impressed with it; I wouldn't say that paying import fees on this stroller is/would be wise. I would definitly look at the Bebecar collection which is available here and just seems much better overall (I haven't tried one but it is my next stroller).
It's just my opinion. and by the way, Bebe confort is a French brand from France (not Italy).

Good luck!

Hello,

Does anyone own a Mutsy stroller? Is so, do you know if their car seat is compatible with the Combi car seat base unit?
Thanks

Hi, I am from Ireland but living in Spain and although you mention you like the bebe comfort stroller the brand Jane which is spanish is fantastic colourful and very smooth and light in weight. I have had quite a few strollers as I have two children 3yrs and 8 months and another on the way. I have the bebe comfort single stroller in red it is both forward and rear facing, drops back flat great for a new born and is reasonably sturdy, however I found it quite heavy and awkward to fold also the shoping basket is very small and not east to get access to. I would not recommend bebe comfort as I find the same with all their models. Jane however is very good, light weight and very sturdy pram I have just orderd the Jane powertwin for the new arrival as my son who is 8 months now will only be 1 yr when my new baby arrives so a twin buggie is essential, it is in bright red. Look at www.jane.es for examples. maybe you will seesomething you like. Well good luck with looking and hopefully I have been of some help. Just remember when buying think practically.

Hi,
I am currently in Europe and wanted to add my two cents to this post.
I am new mom and have a Bebe Confort stroller. This brand is French like Annick and Sophie said. And right it is a leader of European Baby Brand. It is very high quality.
I contacted their headquarters in Cholet, France to know if I will be able to get their product in the US.
The only reason why they are not on the American market is because the American Government will not give them a patent, protecting the US brand. They are extremely safe and follow all the security measures.
They have a factory in Mexico and one in Brazil so they are ready for the US market as soon as the US will let them get in.

So far, I am un-impressed with the American brands. I will not put my baby safety at risk by putting them in any of the stuff I have seen and espcially from Graco. I don't know what I will do when we have to go back to the US.
I guess I will take my European stuff with me and pray that they airline will let me use it and that the patrol will not check the US Government seal on the car seat!!!

UptownBaby wrote: I have been looking at alot of the European strollers online and wondering the same thing! They have SO many options for great convertable travel systems (I love the pram/bassinet feature). They all seem to me much higher quality than those offered in the US market and they have such fun colors and NO plastic parts!!! I am currently in LOVE with the BebeCar line, they do have an American/Canadian website (www.buystrolleronline.com) and will ship for free. But, it is hard to plunk down $500 for a stroller that you have never seen in person. <sigh!>

Hi,

I'm also in love with Bebecar line, especially with Icon and Vector. Could you advise which one to buy and if they are really as nice and functional as they seem?

I would appriciate any information you have about these strollers.[/quote]
