re: 19 & Pregnant... Can I do it?

Hi, I'm nineteen and pregnant as well. One thing that is probably different is me and my husband were trying to have a baby but that doesn't make you any less capable of raising a child with just you and your boyfriend. There are plenty of teen parents who do it everyday! A baby is one of the biggest miracles that happens in the world and you made it! Can you believe that you made a baby?! It's an amazing thing that happens and thats for sure! Just try as hard as you can and everything will be okay, children don't come with instruction manuals and there will be times that you don't know what to do, but that isn't going to out weigh all of the positive things that you will experience with your child, just keep your head up and try and stay positive and you can do it!

You can definately do it. Im 18, ill be 19 when the baby comes, just hit my 3 month mark , I was worried at first but my family was vry supportive as well as my boyfriend and best friends. I come from a district where we have the highest pregnancy rate out of 13 districts, ages from 16-19. You can definately do it, every baby is a blessing , and you can still accomplish everything you need to accomplish it'll just take a little bit more time.

I was 19 when I got pregnant. I had my gorgeous son two weeks after I turned 20. Now hes 7 months old. Its the scariest, best thing that you can go through. Me and my boyfriend had thought about getting an abortion for the first few months I was pregnant. I didnt end up getting one, because my mom had told be a few years before I was born, she had gotten on, and she regrets it everyday of her life...But I didnt end up telling my parents or anyone else that I was pregnant until I was 5 months along and starting to show. It was scary, I thought I was ruining my life, and everyone who look down on me about having a baby. But when I finally did tell my parents they were so AMAZINGLY supportive, not to mention excited to have a grandbaby on the way.
Its hard, but if you want the baby now, there is no way a abortion is going to make you happy. I just look at my son everyday and smile. Hes the best thing thats ever happened to me.   Good Luck!
