Pregnant life seems too stressful for me

posted 8th Jun '12
This is my first pregnancy
I am having a boy and certain things cross my mind daily.
I wanted a little girl because it'd be more like me but its definitely a boy and his dad (Kyle) has ADHD bad and cant eat colored food dyes and he sure loves candy , hotfries, slurpies and all that.
I'm also scared of the possibility of my doctor saying ill need a C section?
Now that concerns me deeply , Idk anything about this.
I need a fast recovery , I have to much to worry about and do with a newborn.
My diet is not in good shape but I take prenatals everyday.
I try to workout everyday but i'm tired all day and don't feel like going any where.
But being stuck in this house all day with my older brother and his two year old and newborn drive me crazy some days even though i love them very much.
Kyle works all day from 9 to 10 pm most days.
I miss him and go crazy when he is away that long but I feel thats being dependent on him.
I have too many thoughts to type down and I need to be cleaning. . .

A boy or girl could have the same or some of the things the father or mother has.

There is nothing wrong with being cautious about food additives and having children is always a gamble as far as how they will fare.

I think maybe you need a part time job or a hobby or something to keep you occupied throughout the pregnancy

Wow, this post was all over the place. Out of curiosity, what does food dye have to do with anything?

Red dye has been linked to some behavioral problems as well as nitrates and some other additives.

As long as you are having a normal healthy pregnancy you shouldn't really have any worry about a c-section. You can deny one if it is brought up unless you or the baby are in danger. And just because the father has something doesn't mean that your baby will have it.
Try to take some time to take a bath and relax. Or maybe get out of the house and do some pampering for yourself.

it sounds like you need to talk to a therapist, you sound depressed, and it's not going to get better when you have the added stress and tiredness of taking care of your own newborn.

don't worry about a C-section right now, you won't know that until you are in labor, there really isn't any good in worrying yourself for that.

what? my son is my BEST FRIEND. it doesn't matter that he isn't a girl, he is a lot like me, and i learned to be interested in everything he likes. we are sitting here watching "mr popper's penguins" and he's going "aww look at the baby penguins!" he is such a caring, loving, friendly individual, it doesn't matter that he is a boy. i'm actually hoping this next baby is a boy, too.

what does your boyfriend eating crap he isn't supposed to have anything to do with you?

your recovery will be fine. you have things to do with a newborn and things to worry about? you think you are the only one that is giving birth? you will be FINE.

also, get a hobby or a job. you cannot be putting yourself through this pointless stress.

Not much of a blogger, I just type what I am thinking.
I barely keep up with my email.

I just wish I was one of those happy pregos , but my family hates that I'm 18 and having a baby. Everything seems so stressful.
I was in a two year college then trying to go to A&M to be a Vet but my dream seems to be slipping away with me trying to taking care of Kyle Myself nd Silas.

Someone told me it gets easier when the baby is born , I hope theyre right.

Most get post partum depression after the baby is born. Mine started at 2 weeks. So no, for all, it doesn't get easier.

nope, it sure doesn't. i left my son after he turned 2. i moved out for a couple months and rarely visited. it took him almost a year to trust me again. i couldn't take it. i needed help but i didn't want to face it.

if you are feeling like this now, you better start getting some help ASAP. it does NOT get better just because the baby is here. then you are going to start bitching, "Kyle doesn't help with this" "I don't get any sleep" "This baby is colicky" etc. etc.

I also hate newborns and the way they look it freaks me out.
Would that mean I have a higher chance in post part-um?

You need to go talk to a therapist.

I didn't want a c-section either, it was my biggest fear. but i had to have an emergency c-section @ 38 weeks and honestly, I love that I had it. Even though I didn't get to push him out, I was up and walking the next day - and I was only uncomfortable for a few days and was still fully able to care for my son. and the upside - my vagina stayed the same   lol stop stressing, everything is going to be just fine for you! enjoy this amazing time in your life being pregnant! once you give birth, you will miss it!
