Unbearable cravings [teeth gnashing]

So I've been having a humungo craving for KFC lately, and the only KFC they have close by is one that's an hour away. We're also in Germany, so there's really no guarantee that the KFC here will taste anything like the KFC in the states. Thankfully they have a chicken place that sort of tastes like KFC here in K-Town, so after Gregory's nap I'm off to lurk in their dining area like a madwoman.

What cravings have you had this pregnancy that couldn't or wouldn't be satisified? Had somewhere you wanted to go or something you wanted to eat to the point of desperation but were unable to get?

Also, strangely enough, if I could eat my laundry detergent I would. It smells so good.  

Lol my craving has been pizza hut cheese pizza i am draging my poor boyfriend there constently the closest one to us is like 45min so there are days when im like YOU NEED TO GET HOME NOWW I NEED PIZZA HUT haha that and cool whip. i know it sounds nuts but i could eat it non stop

i had hot wings from KFC last night!! but i crave lots of things i can't have like a cheeseburger from Teddy's Bigger Burgers in Hawaii...sad...

Right now I am craving pesto, sour green mango, and this fruit that isn't in season yet so yes, I am very frustrated! Haha

My Mom was like you when she was carrying my brother. She was craving chicken that was available at a place 2 hours away! Thing is, when it's there she wouldn't even eat it - she said she just liked knowing it was there LOL Must've driven my father bonkers!

I crave Applebees hotwings can;t get enough of them and the nearest Applebees is 1hr away so I know how you feel...now I want some hotwings geez lol

I wanted Chick-Fil-A the other day and they only have US locations. My mom brought me some frozen when she came over though! It was divine.

Mine is hot wings too. I love them and I can have all I want too since it doesn't affect my blood suger much. My hubby goes constantly to KFC to get their saucless wings for me. And my BIL will make them for me too YUM.

The wanting to eat the detergent thing...that's got a name. It's called picca and it's an actualdisorder durging pg where women crave non edibles. Although some take it to the extreme by actually eating chalk or dirt or mothballs(!). I read that in one of my nursing text books. I'll tell you...the weirdest sh*t happens during pregnancy!

Anything apple baked - I don't care what or where its from .. half the time I just make appleturnoevers from pillsbury here and I'm good.

Other pregnancies though I craved East Side marios tossed salad and bread - I would go there and just fill up on unlimited salad and bread.

It's insane! I'll go into the laundry room just to smell the air in there when there's a wash in (smelling it actually calms me down somehow), and I'll come out and my husband will be like, "Got your fix?" I never had it with my last pregnancy. It's strange.

I live across the street from a yogurt factory and everytime they batch vanilla or strawberry yogurt, the whole block smells like it. Last night it was strawberry and I suddenly had the most intense desire for strawberry nesquik (which any other time would have made me gag!). Fortunatly the craving passed but I had to shut my windows to avoid the smell. LoL.

Oh Jack in the Box tacos. They don't have a JIB here in GA...I think the closest one is about a 2 hour drive. I'm tempted to hop in the car one weekend and go anyway, but with gas as expensive...I haven't been able to convince myself.

Also in San Diego there is this wonderful frozen yogurt place called the Yogurt Barn, and I love it so much. There obviously isn't one here, and the only place to get good frozen yogurt (by good I mean not just vanilla or chocolate) - is TCBY, and they closed the one by my house. There have been many sad days in cravingsland.

Got a huge craving for tomato juice. When it first hit me last week, we didnt have any, so I pourred myself half a glass of tomato sauce and added water. I drank one liter of that stuff. Yum!

I know how you feel, i am in Germany as well and there are so many things from back home that i want and can't have. I want spaghetti O's, and root beer, and mac and cheese, and So many damn things !!! Also now i have GD so i can't even have the nice things that i have found here in germany since they all have sugar in them. i started to cry yesterday because i am trying so hard to eat right but my sugar is still always to high. I had no idea food was so important to me before i got the GD   

oh and ranch dressing ! i want ranch dressing so bad !!!!
