he's nervous about sex?!

so me and jay were just talking the other day about the baby and stuff and my body changing and everything and he goes to me "i don't know how to explain it, i mean, it's like i don't know about sex.." and i asked him if i was still sexually attractive and he said yes, and he still has a sex drive, but more and more things are just turning him off...... i mean he always wants a blow job cause hes a guy.. LOL.... but he said he knows he can't hurt me from sex (we're only 6 1/2 weeks into the pregnancy) but he just doesn't know what it is.

he said he just knows things are diferent "down there". i mean, I LOVE SEX. and nothing is different down there. at least not yet... lol.

i think the thing is, he's a firefighter/paramedic. he's seen a lot and not many things get to him. for him to become a paramedic he had to watch two live births.... like watch all that the doctor sees. he said it was like everything turned inside out and he said it was disgusting. so i think that he is thinking about what he SAW and that's just stuck in his head.

he even gets weirded out when my nipples are rock hard. i mean they're so hard that they're longer. i mean i don't like it either, but i can't help it.

I think he will need so time to adjust but when he does it will be hard to keep him off of u I mean how long could he go w/o sex?

Some men just can't handle the changes .
My best advice is to reassure him that even though your body is changing and a baby is growing , you still feel great and want him .
Get some books , show him that the baby is fine in there and well protected . It might help .
In the end though you might have to deal with him feeling funny about it for the next 8 months ...

i agree with the other mamas- just give them time. Brad and I were like rabbits after i first got pregnant because my drive increased ALOT. i'm sure yours will too, and once he gets used to it, he won't be able to resist you   Then after i started getting a baby bump our sex just went downhill from there...so don't WORRY. you're not the only one. i think at least one time during the pregnancy the guy has a problem with sex. it's okay
