A couple questions about OPKs.

In April DH and I didn't really do anything to chart ovulation, I just used FF to chart my menstruel cycles and we BD on the days it said to, and obviously it was a no go that month. In May we used OPK tests for the first time. My LMP was 5-15 and I got a pos OPK on 5-30 which was cycle day 16 and I have a 27 day cycle. We BD 5-29, 5-31, and 6-1 cycle days 15, 17, and 18. What I'm trying to figure out is how t figure out my luteal phase from the pos opk and if we may have a chance from BD on those dates, we unfortunately didn't get to BD on the day I got the pos OPK. Sorry if it's a little confusing, but I am totally new to this whole thing.

Generally you Ovulate 12-36 hours after you first pos OPK. I ordered OPK dip sticks from amazon, I usually test for LH surge starting on day 12 twice a day... I know a bit obsessive.... I also tried basal temp this time around ... there's an app that you can download to help predict your fertile days and luteal phase

So if I tested in the morning and got a pos and we didn't BD till the night of the next day, it could have been too late if I ovulated within 12 hours of the pos test, right? Also what is the name of the app? Thanks!

My Fertility Charts Mobile App... you can chart temp, pos OPK when your cycle started, when it ended and your expected fertile date . You could still be pregger, if you got a pos in the morning released an egg that night the egg can live up to 24-36 ours in a good environment
