I need someone to tell me I did the right thing...

A girl I used to work with, used to live with me. Well, she told her PO that she still lives here. She asked me to tell her PO that she still lived here if i was asked.

Well, her PO came by today.
And I'm horrible at lying   And told her PO that she didn't live here anymore.
I didn't tell her PO where she was living, because I honesty don't know. But someone please, tell me that I did the right thing by not lying to her PO?

Pretty sure can get in trouble for lying so yes you did the right thing. I dont lie for others.

You did the right thing. you would get in trouble if you were caught lying for her.

probation officer.

I think it is incredibly stupid to lie to an officer or a parole officer. You could have gotten in trouble too if you did.

You absolutely did the right thing.

You have no obligation to be lying for her.
&I think you can get yourself into some trouble for lying about it.
She has no right to be mad. She's the one in the wrong by asking you to lie for her.

PO is parole officer.
You absolutely could have gotten in trouble. You did the right thing.

Whew. Glad to know others would've done the same.

I just feel bad, and don't want to cause any drama, but at the same time, I'm not going to lie to a probation officer.

It's a parol/probation officer. lol

Thats my thing. I have my two kids to take care of, I'm not getting involved in whatever she got in trouble for.

PO can either be a probation or parole officer. They are two different things though
