Hey girls, I love this board!!! My cramps are a little bit better this morning but I'm still mentioning it to my Dr this afternoon. Anyone else spilling everything liquid they come in contact with? I'm like a 2 year old running around with a big girl cup!!! We're not gonna tell anyone for a while and while my grandmother will be praying for the soul of this out of wedlock child and will probably have a stroke, I'm most afraid of telling my best friend. We're the last two childless women left in our group of friends and I know she's not gonna take it lightly or happily. I know its terrible and you guys are probably saying "what kind of a best friend is that" and I know. I know. She's different, her glass is always half empty and I know if she has one negative thing to say to me, I wont take it with a grain of salt. Mostly I'm not looking forward to explaining to everyone my reasons for not having a shotgun wedding. My BF knows nothing about pregnancy and neither do I really, so I love coming on here and reading everyone elses point of views and concerns. Thanks girls.

Yeah, Im pretty clueless too! I've been doing a lot of research on line while I'm at work to see whats going on with the baby and everything. We are waiting till I'm 7 weeks to tell our parents. I don't want a lot of people to know in case anything goes wrong, but at the same time I don't want us to go through it alone.

i know i mite feel a slight twinge here and there when im trying to fall asleep, but then again Our uteruses are growing for our babies and our body is changing. I kno alot of the times my twinge is gas....yes the evil gas...lol, but it seems after i let it "pass"..i feel so much better...lol..Wierd!
But like others have noted, u have to have faith (what ever u choice of faith may be) and pray for a healthy pregancy and baby and dont STRESS!! STRESS is not good for a preganacy....it can cause miscarriges and possible side effects to the baby.
I"m due Jan 5th and i can't wait! go January Babies!!!

Thanks for all the messages. This forum seems like so much fun and it's great to share with other mommies to be in January. I have decided to parentank all of you to keep in touch with you all.
I have told my youngest brother yesterday and he seemed really excited. Tomorrow it's time to tell the (step)parents of my boyfriend and Sunday we will be telling my other brother and his girlfriend!
Still not having any problems. Even tiredness seems to get better. Then again I guess I am genetically lucky because my mom has had very easy pregnancies, without no nausea.

hey everyone, I went to my primary care doctor yesterday, she gave me a blood and urine test, both wayyy positive, she gave me prenatal vitamins, and referred me to a few OB/GYNs. I asked about the cramping, which by the way, miraculously went away a few hours before I went to see her, and she said it was probably just my uterus growing. Made me feel so much better. Had a great night, great morning then again this morning, the devil came out. I dont know if its the rainy boston weather or what but I'm an evil crazy lady again today. I'm EXHAUSTED beyond belief and no one knows I'm prego so no one really gets it so no one's cutting me any slack. My patience is SHOT! I feel like I should be on "Girl Interrupted" One day I'm so happy, next day I cant stop crying and the next day I want to kick puppies. I think my hormones might be going a little bit crazy. Plus I cant even drink my nightly glass of wine after work to unwind. I'm going to get a mig mac and a quart of chocolate Haagen Daz iced cream and I'm plopping down on my couch ALONE and watching chick flicks all night. Anyone else feel cuckoo crazy or am I just on the extreme end of the spectrum?

LOL, Nicole I totally feel you.
I cry over the dumbest things...like, I DVR Extreme Makeover Home Edition, and I watched last Sunday's episode tonight and was crying through the whole thing, and it's such a happy story! It was ridiculous. I work with customers all day, and I find myself having no patience for people right now...I get irritated if a customer does just the slightest annoying thing. I'm such a grumpy butt right now!! Luckily my staff and my boss know that I'm pregnant, and my boss and I have a great relationship, so she'll forgive me just about anything right now cus she's so excited for me and she knows this isn't how I normally am. I can't wait til I get a little bit bigger though and it's obvious I'm pregnant...I'm hoping that my customers will start being super nice all the time cus I'm preggo. LOL.

Thanks God I dont have these symptoms (yet). I can get really really tired yet. TodayI am feeling like I want to sleep all day. The bad thing is that I start a new job tomorrow (40 hours a week) and I am not looking forward to it when I feel so tired. But then again tomorrow might be one of those days that I am not tired at all.
This whole pregnancy is really nerve-wrecking. I keep being scared of a miscarriage. I guess I just have to relax.
I have to go in for blood tests on June 2nd and am getting my first ultrasound the next day. Then June 9th I have my intake at the OB and I am seeing the specialist end of June for my thyroid, just in case.
How is everyone else holding up?

I'm right there with ya! My husband was making fun of me last night cause I was crying over something silly on TV! lol! I'm like "Give me a break!" I have been really nausous (I spelt that wrong) the past few days, and really tired.
My first doctors appointement is not until June 11!! I'll bell 11 weeks by then! This is my first pregnancy, so I dont know if thats normal, but it seems kinda late to me.

Hi Katie! This is my first pregnancy as well but from what I have heard and read 11 weeks is pretty normal. I don't think they can do and see much before that. Good luck!

Hey Ladies, I went to my first Docs appt. today and found out for sure i am 5 weeks and 4 days, but its to early for them to see or do anything so i go back on the 23rd for the physical and another untrasound. I was so neavous and now im even more nervous because i was hoping to hear a heart beat or even see one and it was nothing. This is my 3rd pregnancy but yet I find myself clueless sometimes, imagine that lol. I'm praying that the baby is ok and developing fine. I have gainied almost 3 pounds and i have alot of cramping and pains in my lower back, the doc said its normal but i guess it's a pregnant mother thing to worry worry worry!

Nicole n Steph i understand what you're feeling coz last week im in the same state.
Grumpy in the morning, cheerful at day n feeling down at nite (not in the same order everyday ). Now i'm in week 7 n not feeling quite moody oh n the nausea have inclined drastically but i'm keeping my fingers crossed incase they come again . Btw i had my 1st appointment n they gave the ultra sound pic, it looked so tiny
n eventhough the pic is blur i still think it is the most beautiful pic i've ever seen.
