Birthday Help

My daughter has Septo Optic Dysplasia which makes her eyesight very bad. She also has an under working thyroid, which makes her grow very slowly. She is 9 months and only 11 lbs. Im not sure what to do for her on her 1st birthday. She will not know whats going on and since she is small she cant sit up by herself, so Im not sure about a party. Although a family thing sounds ok. Any suggestions?

I think the first few b-days are more family events anyways. Your kid may have some daycare "friends" but I don't think it really counts till they are like 4.

Okay thanks. Now that I think about it, a little party with just family and some of my close friends will be just fine. Idk why Im stressing over this lol
