Brian Lewis is here

This morning I came into the hospital at 6:30am to be induced. As soon as I got to the hospital and got out of the car I started having mild contractions and when they hooked me up they were already registering on the monitors. They started pitocin at about 7, broke my water at 9:30, I got an epidural at 10:30 and life was great. My husband and I were watching a movie and about to take a nap when the nurse came in to check me and she got a weird look on her face. She said wow, you are at 10cm and +2 station. It's time to have a baby!

I was so shocked and scared and excited that I started literally shaking all over to the point that my teeth were chattering. The nurse started rushing around getting things together because she and everyone else thought that we would have quite awhile left before it was time to have the baby. We got things all ready and I started pushing around 1:15 and at 2:51pm Brian Lewis was born!

I am already so in love with him. He is perfect!

LOL Oh yeah...I almost forgot. 8lbs 7 oz, 22 inches long, and adorable as can be! :-)

i have a question..im being induced monday so im just wondering were you dialated any before you went into the hosptial and started gettin the pitocin??

Sorry, too many people have had baby pics stolen from here so I'm not posting any on the forums. (which kills me cause I want to show him off). I was 2cm and 85% effaced when I went in this morning. Good luck on your induction!!

and how long did it take you i mean how long was your labor because right now im 2cm and i could possibly be more by monday and i think they will be startin the pitocin either at 5 or 7 so i just wanna kinda get an estimate!

aww thank you well then maybe mine will be fast like yours because im 2cm right now...maybe i'll be more by monday =)

theyl start pitocin right away! i had my epi by 3 cm! lol

i went in at 8 am...got pitocin at 9 broke water at 12(doc did it) hard contracions came...nubain at 5-6..epi at 6(i was 3 cm..)by 830 i was 10cm station+2 ready to push.....he was born at 847pm

&& just by your personal opinion what do you think
ive gotta be at the hosptial by 5 or 7 i'll find the exact time tomorrow but do you think i'll have the baby monday night or tuesday morning?? im already 2cm so i might even progress more by monday!!

monday night! get the epi...it sped my labor up! alot of ppl say it slows you down...but not me...it relaxed me! and just relax....the iv was the worst part for me!
