Many diseases/genetic defects can be prevented from carrying on to the child like pre-implantation genetic diagnosis ect.

I will sound like a bitch but no I wouldn't risk the child's life and doom it to a short life span.
I have a cousin who has HepC and she still wants to procreate, I think it's very selfish with the some what high percentages of giving it off to the fetus. But I have my reasons behind why she shouldn't procreate again not disease related though.

It is not rude when you are a mom (if things work out) u will better understand to us even the thought of our children having diseases and being in pain and or dying scares the hell out of us.

If the disease you are talking about it endometriosis, I wouldn't let that in particular deter me from having children. Sure there is a genetic link, but its not life threatening, its treatable, and there is 50% chance of having a boy anyway.

Now if it were something like HIV, I definitely would not.

Umm endometreosis causes other issues so unfortunately endo can be life threatening like for me I have a waste elimination issue due to colon damage and I have diabetes ... due to insulin problems from my endo
