Quoting Anastacia1119: I have heard that they are off as well... I hope on the lighter side for our sake!We had one yesterday ... [snip!] ... till the contractions hurt! I have a VERY high tolerance for labor pains though! He will probably end up being born at home!I hope they are on the lighter side too... i hear that they are off too but that could mean bigger thats what scares me!!!!
Quoting ~*Kathleen*~20 Days*~: My friend had a 13 ib baby vaginally, and my mom had 3 children 11-13 ibs vaginally and without meds, ... [snip!] ... baby at a home birth and she didn't even scream once...I think you should try your hardest if a vaginal birth is what you want!I will b/c i dont have a prob with it but its my dr who has the prob ... she acts like its never been done
Quoting Makayla Kori's Mom{3 Days: I will b/c i dont have a prob with it but its my dr who has the prob ... she acts like its never been doneA pff tell her to go have her own 10 ib baby. It is your choice, and I think you can do it, I have a friend who while pregnant her first time her doctor told her to get the epi because she wouldn't be able to handle her baby crowning and such. He figured she would be too small to have her baby, she is very short but that is all. So she took his advice and got the epi, after 3 times of them missing the target, and she labored for 18 hours. She had to get vaccuum done to get baby out becuase she couldn't push properly. She just had her second baby this year, 3 years apart, and her new OB told her she wouldn't need anything for pain, she was so concerned but she did it too without meds and a 6 hour labor. The moral...The doctor definitly doesn't know what is best!..Unless of course it was medically best.
