Sounds like a complete smurf.

I would look up what he'd pay for child support in your state and ask him to start giving you that much per month towards the child's needs.

We started living together first, then we got on the same phone plan and paid half/half cash/credit at the store lol He didn't like banks. Over the next few months we started combining bills (we rent out his moms basement). Now it's cable bill, car insurances, phone, my car payment and we each pay our own side of bills we just have the bank accounts and have a budget. He gets paid weekly most of the time (he's a contractor so no direct deposit) so he has to go to the bank to deposit money which they close at 3pm during the week wtf? lol, I get paid bi-weekly w/direct deposit. But when we do get our own real place, the gas, utilities, etc will probably be divided equally depending on our income and what not.

Now we're engaged and he takes care of all the finances.
