sometimes I feel like I hate my baby

When he comes back from his dad's house, and doesn't sleep for me at all. Wakes up at 3 in the morning wanting to play and I have a huge headache. Meanwhile at daddy's house he seeps te whole damn night. My god. It makes me wantto scream. I don't actually hate him. I love him very much. It just feels like a punishment.

It can be like that at times and it's perfectly normal for you to be exhausted and irritated.. But hate is a VERY strong word..

what you are feeling is totally normal, and hes probably just excited to know he is back with mama from being at dads, and maybe hes wasking up because he wants to make sure you are there, since he goes back and forth between parents....hate is a very strong word, i think you hate the situation, not the baby itself

It's normal. But you should try and use another word. I made a similar thread a long time ago and got a bunch of bs from some stupid smurfs who couldn't tell i hated the situation i was in and the father based on my post. Not necessarily my baby who i love very much!

Yeah, they don't lol. I got called psycho and told that i needed psychiatric help all because i said i 'hated' my baby because of the father and was looking into adoption. And that i should've aborted or kept my legs closed. But i didn't hate him of course, i just didnt wanna have any resentment towards him because of its father therefore i was looking into adoption and asking for advice.

But i ended up keeping him and i love him so much. He's my everything and thankfully he's an easy baby and i have family support. But its still very normal to feel frustrated sometimes, especially when you get very little sleep! Aahh!! Lol.

oh yes, I know what you mean. when my child was a month old and i got absolutely zero sleep I used to wonder if he'd be better of in another home. Once i even wished he would die in his crib. it's all very normal ppd stuff, and obv you would never hurt your child. I take anti-depressants for it now. the key is talking about it, that's why I love mother woman groups.

Yeah its better to ask for advice. But some people don't understand.

So as i was reading these posts i was understanding and was able to identify, then i remember stupid bitches posting over taking something i said littereately, then i continued reading and was ... wel... i feel bad for you in the nicest way possible if you can understand that.. );
