Help infection???

Ok so my 2 year old daughter fell a week and a half ago and it made her finger nail crack in the middle and it started falling off well I sent her with her aunt a told her about it and she decided to mess with it after I told her don't clip it that we were just letting it fall off on its own we had been putting peroxide and antibacterial ointment on it well she clipped it and now today we noticed that everytime something touches it she cries and its really red and swollen and warm to the touch. I wish she would have listened to me and left it alone they never listen to anything I have to say about my kid and act like I'm stupid cause I'm young I know more then most of them think. Ok so back to topic do you ladies think it sounds infected and what should I do about it if it is? Please no rude commits I'm very upset right now. And I know run on sentence I'm on my phone.

Yes, it sounds infected. I would take her in to see her doctor as soon as possible to get antibiotics to treat it.

Thanks so much I would have to take her to the childrens hospital if I took her in cause I'm having to switch doctors cause the one we have never listens to me and just prescribes random crap like once I was like she is havering a stuffy nose and itchy eyes and all he did was look in her ears listen to her lungs and look in her ears and wrote a prescription for an antibiotic and allergy medicine lol wtf all she had was alerts. I literally could walk in and say Im having bad anxiety and he would write a prescription without any other questions
